The DBX18 mountain bike challenge, together with Retail Capital, offers four routes to choose from. Each route is named after one of Darling Brew’s quaffable brews and will make use of a combination of single track, jeep track and farm roads in and around Darling. The routes range from the super endurance long course for experienced MTB enthusiasts, to the less challenging short ride for the family, novices and youngsters.
The race will start and finish at Darling Brew, where the Brewery offers riders and spectators a relaxed ambiance with family friendly surroundings, ample secure parking, locally brewed craft beer, entertainment and tasty eats. This year there will be awesome prizes available en route and the Stone Jets will be wooing the crowds before and after the prize giving.
Entries for DBX18 are now open and have been known to sell out fast. Each entry includes a Darling Vleismark droëwors, a Darling Dairies yoghurt and a Darling Brew beer glass and Darling Brew beer (for 18s and over).
DBX’s community project of choice is DRESS, a recycling swap shop based close to the brewery and to their hearts. DBX will be donating bicycles for Darling youths to ‘buy’ with their recycling collections. One of these lucky kids will receive his/her well- deserved bike on the day of the race. DRESS will be on site on race day to recycle your valuable waste. If you wish to contribute further to this good cause, you can do so with your DBX entry.
