Description: Charles Back is widely regarded as the most innovative vineyard owner in South Africa and for the last 26 years winemaker Anthony De Jager has translated this energy into a much-respected range of wines, many of which are made in small quantities and all of which have a story to tell.
With 140 ha of prime vineyard overlooking Darling, and 14 different varieties planted, these “Atlantic vineyards” provide Anthony no shortage of fine fruit, and if that is not enough, he will be also be showing some rather interesting wines from their other vineyards.

Description: The weekend of 15 to 17 June is a long weekend – also when the annual equestrian outride takes place on Swartbergsvlei – come and enjoy one of the most enjoyable and most scenic routes on the Weskus. Bring yourself, your horse and if you don’t ride, there will be tractor driven wagons available for those who would prefer to ride along on these. (Unfortunately, no private vehicles will be permitted to ride along the trail) There are camps available for horses. Just remember to bring along your water and feed bowls. Early Bird bookings – R170 per person R100 for children aged 12 years and younger / Bookings after 10 June – R200 pp and R130 for under 12 years.
