Thali Thali Game Lodge and Nature Reserve near Langebaan offers morning and afternoon guided West Coast Nature & Game Drive Safari Tours.
Get close to nature and focus on the fynbos, flowers, and grasses and smaller creatures like birds and insects. The reserve is home to a wide range of game like kudu, oryx, giraffe, red hartebeest, eland, zebra, springbok, black wildebeest, duiker, bontebok, steenbok, ostrich, dromedary camel and emu.
The safari vehicle take guests along the many nature trails that can only be explored with the expert guidance of one of the Thali Thali Safari guides.
Get close to the flora on the game reserve and discover the 3 different kinds of vegetation types: Strandveld, Renosterveld and Weskus Savannah.

The primary habitat type is Saldanha Flats Strandveld. This habitat consists of a shrubland with few trees and a moderately tall shrub layer. There is a showy display of bulb plants and annual herbaceous plants in the spring.

Don’t forget to bring your binoculars and a camera to ensure that you don’t miss the wide variety of bird life on the reserve.

West Coast Nature Trails

Thali Thali is a 1,460 hectare Cape West Coast game and fynbos reserve situated just off the R27 near Langebaan, less than 1 hours drive from Cape Town, bordering the West Coast National Park. Birding Experiences

Thali Thali is home to a long list of bird species within its boundaries. The South African national bird, the blue crane, is one of the species that feature not only on the five-cent coin but also here. If you are lucky enough to see these regal birds, do not disturb them, especially if they are in breeding.

The West Coast is the southernmost point for the Palaearctic migratory birds from the northern Europe and Siberia, so one can see birds most other people just dream of.
