Darling Voorkamer Festival
Visitors buy a ticket for specific routes, there are seven in total. During one of these unforgettable journeys between three different homes in Darling, you will see three performances. It involves all areas of Darling.
The element of surprise; your adventure starts on a taxi ride to your first venue, and the performance there will remain a mystery until it starts. The homes you will visit will range from township abodes to Cape Dutch homes of Darling. We want you to experience a truly South African multicultural sphere. An exciting mix of theatre genres provide for all tastes. Local taxi companies are employed for this weekend to transport everyone to the various destinations.
The concerts in Darling resident’s living rooms, include a variety of dance, music, drama, comedy, storytelling and magic.

West Coast National Park Free Week
West Coast National Park Free Week from the 14-19 September 2015. The week grants free access to most of the day visitors with their “South African identity document”. Darling Wildflower Show
The Darling Wildflower Show takes place annually over the third weekend in September and celebrates an integral part of the Cape Fynbos Kingdom comprising of Renosterveld, Rietveld, Sandveld, and Strandveld where more than 1200 different species of flowers can be found.
There will be live music and entertainment for all 3 days of the festival: Klassik, Stone Jets, The Meerkat Ensemble, Doné and Anya Botha. Tickets are available at the gate or online: www.darlingwildflowers.co.za

Mamre Wild Flower Festival
It is a must that you visit DIE WERF from 18 – 20 September 2015 during the flower festival. break away and experience the peacefulness and beauty of nature – you will be accompanied by tour guides who will share the love story of every building, even the birds will talk to you. Amongst all these natural beauties, you will also experience the flower exhibition as well as the remains of the mill’s tools and equipment.
There will be lots of entertainment at The Park (Church Street): fun fare, quad bikes and lots of food stalls.
