Groote Post Country Market – 27 October 2019

Find Groote Post on the West Coast Way #TractorRoute

With the West Coast in full buzz and bloom, the Pentz family invites you to join them at their October Country Market on Sunday 27 October.

• Entry to the Groote Post Country Market is free of charge.

• Groote Post Country Market opening hours: 10h00 to 15h00

Groote Post Country Market dates for the rest of the year:

27 October (Country Run and Country Market), 24 November and 15 December (Christmas Market).

The October market will be overflowing with the essence of spring, with all the market stalls colorfully adorned with flowers and showcasing their finest spring fare, and the seating area decorated with spring flowers from the farm. It will be the ideal time to soak up the “soft balmy sunshine and the flower-scented air”, according to Groote Post’s very own ‘Grande Dame of Cape Cuisine’, Hildagonda Duckitt, who so loved the West Coast spring splendor with its “magnificent tapestry of flowers”. Guests can expect delicious and beautiful country offerings including artisan foods, arts, and crafts, homeware, clothing, décor, gifts, jewelry, accessories, toys, fresh produce and more. Local is always lekker at Groote Post, with a divine selection of Darling gourmet produce including Weskus Worswa, Darling Honey, Burger Fellas, Darling Sweet, Nellies Homemade Pies, the popular Darling Brew and of course Groote Post’s well-loved wines. A very popular addition will be Groote Post’s Bubbly and Oyster stand.

The Country Market will present a perfect playground for children who will love the rolling lawns and popular playgrounds as well as the tractor rides, guided horse rides and more.

Groote Post’s award-winning restaurant, Hilda’s Kitchen, will be open as usual, but please note that booking is essential.

The Groote Post Market is an outing for the whole family including one’s furry children, but dogs must please be kept on a leash at all times.
