Strandkombuis is a rustic open-air restaurant situated right on the stunning 16 Mile Beach in Yzerfontein. With its breath-taking views from every table and stunning sunsets, this venue makes any occasion extra special.
Half of the venue is covered with a permanent roof, while the front is protected from the sun by a desert-style open-sided tent and wooden steps lead directly from the deck down to the beach.
For weddings, couples can either hold their ceremony on the deck or in the soft white sand below and guests will be fed in true West Coast style – the freshest of seafood prepared on open fires with freshly baked breads and homemade condiments.
Tucked in the dune behind the venue is a B&B that sleeps up to 60p so guests can merely trip over the dune to go to bed, and the adjacent salt pan offers a dramatic backdrop for wedding photographs.

Blue Bay Lodge
