SPRING IS STILL IN THE AIR AND THE FLOWERS ARE STILL OUT
SO HEAD TO GROOTE POST ON SUNDAY 24th SEPTEMBER
FOR THE GROOTE POST COUNTRY MARKET FROM 10:00 TO 15:00
On 24TH September (the Heritage Day long weekend), Groote Post will again be a hive of activity, brimming with delectable and beautiful country offerings. Guests can expect artisan foods, arts and crafts, home-ware and décor, and of course, Groote Post’s well-loved wines as well as loads of kiddies’ activities.
Riaan, from Old School Entertainment, will be the DJ at the market to entertain the market-goers.
Local will always be lekker, with a divine selection of Darling gourmet produce including The Flying Pig, Weskus Worswa, NetGranaat, Darling Olives, Darling Brew and more.
The 3 Lucky Draws will take place again, at 12:30, 13:30 and 14:30. The winners will each receive a hamper with products from the market and wine from Groote Post, but you must be at the draw to win.
After browsing through the market, visitors will be able to relax under the trees while tucking into their delicious eats from the market. Groote Post’s award-winning restaurant, Hilda’s Kitchen, will be open as usual, but please note that booking is essential.
The kids, as always, will be kept busy with a wide variety of kiddies’ activities – tractor rides, face-painting, guided horse rides and, of course, the popular playground. Although pets are welcome – all dogs must be on a leash at all times.
Entry to the Groote Post Country Market is free of charge.
