Darling Brew December Events: New Darling Summer Beer Festival and Christmas Market launched
The newly launched Darling Summer Beer Festival #DSBF16 is taking place on 3 December from 10h00 to 18h00 at Darling Brew is the latest Darling Brew December Events on offer.
This exciting new festival – a must for beer and cider aficionados – has been launched to celebrate the one year anniversary of Darling Brew’s custom-built Tasteroom and Brewery, situated at 48 Caledon Street in Darling.

Entry to the festival on Saturday the 3rd is R100 per person at the door, or R75 for early bird bookings, and includes a free beer glass. On offer will be live music, great food and award winning Darling Brew craft beers. Live bands: Jimm Harrison Project, Stone Jets and Red Tape Riot. In addition to this, the festival showcases six other beers and ciders from Riot Brewery, Savage Brewery, Flagship Brewery, Mountain Brewing Company, Everson’s Cider and Decider.
An entire festive weekend
Following the beer festival on the Saturday, the next day – Sunday the 4th – sees the inaugural Darling Brew Christmas Market taking place which offers fun for the entire family, and the opportunity to tackle your Christmas shopping. Entry to the Christmas Market is free and open from 10h00 to 16h00.
Darling Brew Christmas Market
The limited edition Darling Brew Festive Box, which contains the Red Goblin beer, uniquely brewed to celebrate Christmas, the gold award-winning Long Claw beer and the carbon-neutral Blood Serpent beer, will be available to purchase during the festival. In addition you can also stock up on the unique Midnight Hawk – a special edition beer to be enjoyed on New Year’s eve. Toast the New Year in with this special edition beer.
