Lekka by die See Restaurant, Langebaan
The epitome of a ‘beach restaurant’, the indoor seating décor comprises white washed benches, sandy floor and fishing nets and seashells suspended from the ceiling, while the deck boasts spectacular ocean and lagoon views. On cold, wet days when you can’t enjoy the deck, the roaring fireplace offers a warm welcome. The menu’s focus is the freshest, tastiest seafood and includes everything from calamari and hake to clams, mussels and prawns.

Boesmanland Plaaskombuis, Langebaan
A rustic restaurant overlooking Hobie Beach and the Langebaan Lagoon, Boesmanland Plaaskombuis is the home of comfort food and serves delicious South African cuisine.
Here you can tuck into a feast of the finest traditional food in hearty portions cooked in big potjies simmering over slow fires, served up with steaming loaves of homemade bread. Relax and take your time while the kids run around on the beach just a few meters away.

Geelbek Restaurant and Nature Wedding Destination, Langebaan
This popular award-winning restaurant is situated overlooking the Langebaan lagoon, inside the West Coast National Park, in the old Geelbek main house. Built in 1744, this Cape Dutch building is a National Monument.
Enjoy fine yet authentic West Coast cuisine made from traditionally South African ingredients, tucking into dishes like bobotie and fragrant Malay curries whilst sipping regional wines. Find owner, founder, foodie and heritage-lover Elmarie Leonard looking after guests and ask her about family recipes going back more than 300 years – like her Geelbek Cape Malay dish!

Thali Thali Game Lodge, Langebaan
For a laid back West Coast atmosphere and spectacular bushveld views that over a wild fynbos-covered landscape, there is no better place to dine. Their Sunday buffet is especially popular and features a freshly baked bread display, potjies and curries, rice, crunchy vegetables with cheese sauce, pumpkin fritters, sweet potatoes and game options like venison pie.

Gaaitjie, Salt Water Restaurant, Paternoster
Gaaitjie is an inspired combination of locally influenced cuisine and a rustic seaside location created by renowned chef and owner, chef, Suzi Holtzhausen who delivers West Coast inspired slow food using fresh seafood and local ingredients for her menu.

Blue bay Lodge, Saldanha
When you want to get away from it all for a weekend, the self-catering chalets at Blue Bay Lodge are perfect as they are away from the main building and most overlook the ocean. The best part is that many also have wood-burning fireplace to curl up next to and read or play board games.
And when you do feel the urge to venture out and see people, both the lounge and restaurant at the Lodge have large stone fireplaces to relax beside and dine or sip red wine.

Paternoster Hotel, Paternoster

!Khwa ttu, the San Education and Culture Centre, 70 km north-west of Cape Town offers you the unique experience of being introduced to the world of the descendants of the first indigenous people of southern Africa.
